Perennial Plants For Your Food Forest, Apothecary Garden & Edible Landscape

Our Mission is to provide unusual rare perennial edible plants, kitchen and medicinal herbs for your food forest. We mainly grow plants suitable for a forest garden, edible plants that grow in full or half-shade.

Our Gardens:

We garden in a small suburban home garden with sandy soil and in a bigger garden with very poor and poorly drained clay soil.

We garden organically according to permaculture principles but we are also influenced by Ernst Goetsch and syntropic farming, Peter Andrews, Sepp Holzer, JADAM and more.

Tough Permaculture Plants:

  • Organic: no chemicals, pesticides or weedkillers
  • Tough: grown outside, no greenhouse
  • Rare: we strive to grow unusual plants
  • Useful: we grow plants to eat, brew, heal or to help grow your foodforest.

Plant Nursery Tea Gardens:

Our plant nursery in Tea Gardens is opened on Fridays and Saturdays only or whenever the signs are out. If you travel please check on FB for closure dates!

Outside opening times there is self-service available. Plants sold at our local nursery are much bigger than plants we can send online.

How We Send Online Orders:

  • All plants are sent with Australia Post Express
  • We send early in the week, in most cases on Mondays
  • Sorry, we can’t send to WA,TAS or overseas.
