Plants are our of stock, there are two plants left for selling offline! My plants survived the hot summer in the nursery under irrigation. They came back from winter dormancy. I planted some out and if they survive heat and the terrible clay soil, I will propagate more ginseng next year.
Other than that, it is a famous medicinal plant, quite big two by two meters, an arching shrub, which likes to grow under deciduous trees. Mine grew in full shade and was very happy there. It has some spines, not too many and I find that the Siberian Ginseng looks quite nice. This ginseng is easy to grow, maybe not in every climate but it liked the Upper Mountains quite well.
It is a classic tonic herb which also supports the immune system and counters fatigue.
