The sandpaper fig is renowned for producing some of the best-tasting native figs. It can grow up to 15 meters tall but can easily be pruned to suit pots, patios, or bonsai displays. The rough leaves were traditionally used by Aboriginal people as sandpaper, and the bark for making string.
Perfect for edible gardens, bush food gardens, or as a bonsai specimen. The sweet figs are delicious fresh or in preserves, and the plant provides excellent shade and greenery in larger gardens.
Sandpaper fig plants are supplied in 40 mm forestry tubes, ready to grow in your garden or patio container.
