Basil Mint in the Kitchen:

Basil mint emits a marvellous refreshing combination of sweet basil and mint when crushed. It does wonders in any salads.

Basil Mint to repeal Insects:

Basil mint has a strong aroma which  makes it a good insect repellent. Try crushing leaves and rubbing it on your skin.

Basil Mint in the Garden:

This mint looks ever fresh and healthy and is not bothered by insects. Very easy to grow, hardy perennial, does well in pots. Likes a moist spot in sun to partial shade, ideal groundcover under trees in neglected spots. Spreads joyfully and reaches 60cm in height. Prune back when stems get woody.
