Our lemon verbenas are going dormant right now and will probably be leafless soon. In colder areas, they leave out very late in the season, be patient and wait!

Lemon verbena is a semi-deciduous shrub to about 2 meters with highly lemon scented foliage. It is a very versatile cooking and tea herb used to flavour sauces, marinades, drinks, fish etc. Lemon verbena can also be used in pot-pourris, and cosmetics.

Traditional herbalism uses lemon verbena for bronchitis, nausea and indigestion.

Lemon verbena is not frost tender as most sources mention, I had that plant for years in the cold Katoomba winters, however it would leaf out very late in the season.
