Basket Plant heb plant, Callisia Fragrans – 3 bare-rooted cuttings

The basket plant is very easy to root – you will get 3 unrooted cuttings as crowns. Plant them either in a pot , or plant them directly into the garden in a shady spot and keep them watered.

An ornamental and medicinal plant that looks especially nice in a hanging basket. The basket plant can also be grown indoors.

Callisia has a rich folkloric history, especially in Eastern Europe (which is noteworthy as Eastern Europe is not the right climate!). Callisia was used as an antimicrobial and anti-fungal remedy, to improve digestion, increase circulation, and  respiratory health. Callisia is also anti-inflammatory.

Evergreen herbaceous plant which does not withstand frost and dislikes cold temperature. 

Prefers fertile, moist soils in a protected, partially shaded area.
