Tidy edible perennial clumping plant with a slight mushroom flavour. Mushroom plant has pretty glossy leaves and tastes great in salads on sandwiches. It is high in protein and vitamins A and C, calcium and iron.
This is a small plant and ideal for patios and pots or in a sunny to partially shady spot in the garden. Mushroom plant is frost and drought tender and prefers rich and well-drained soils.
